About us
Strategia Development Research Institute, Inc. (SDRI) is a Philippine nonprofit organization focused on providing policy research, capacity building, and technical assistance in various social and economic development areas. The organization was founded in 2017 by a group of development professionals and academics from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
SDRI adheres to (1) equality, (2) recognition, (3) representation, and (4) inclusion. It envisions a society where all stakeholders are empowered with a voice and the capacity to participate towards inclusive development.
What we do
- Engage organizations and communities towards informed and evidence-based policy-making and programming through research including baseline studies, technical needs assessment, evaluation reports, and case studies.
- Accelerate capacity development in organizations and communities with custom-made and needs-based modules, training, and workshops.
- Support technical writing and knowledge production through grant proposals, development of manuals, documentaries, feature stories, and other reports. Mission

Outsourcing talent
Depending on the needs of the project, SDRI also engages consultants from a pool of technical experts and support staff. Over the past years, SDRI has worked with technical consultants with background and experience in disaster risk reduction and management, gender and development, local governance, social and emotional learning, sustainable procurement and finance, and statistics and data science, among others.
